2021 Summer commencement

A virtual commencement was conducted on August 20, 2021, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, for 42 students who had been enrolled in Spring 2020 and successfully completed all of their graduation requirements. So far, PSPS has produced a total of 682 masters graduates coming from 65 countries. Dean Yi Huiuk gave a congratulatory speech at the ceremony, which was conducted by Chairman Lee Ju Hyoung of the Department of Sustainable Development. Video seminar with Malawi Alumni

PSPS held a video seminar with its alumni in Malawi on August 10, 2021. It was the second video seminar, following the one with those in the Philippines in March. Two alumni from Malawi, Nagoli Wilson, a 2019 masters graduate, and Alfred Chipundo, a 2020 masters graduate, participated in the video seminar. They gave a presentation about their experiences at PSPS, tips for successfully completing their master’s degrees,and life after returning home. Students said that they were happy to meet the graduates through this seminar and that they were grateful that the graduates had prepared well for the seminar despite their busy schedule.
